Embark on a day trip from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley, a lush escape just 50km south of the city. Explore Setti Fatma waterfalls, interact with Berber locals, and discover local handicrafts. Enjoy lunch amidst the valley’s beauty before returning to Marrakech for the evening.
DAY TRIP ITINERARY
After your breakfast in the riad, our excursion to the magnificent Ourika and Setti Fatma, not far from the red city. This blooming valley, a little more than 50km south of Marrakech, is the city’s escape hatch from the soaring summer heat. Here, you will enjoy a walk among local people to the Setti Fatma waterfalls sources and discover more about the life of Berber people.
You will also explore the work of local manufacturers of handicrafts such as colored glass and metal tin lanterns, hand-painting, and much more. Lunch will be served beside the valley so you can enjoy the beauty of the place while eating. Eventually, we will return to Marrakech, where you will spend the night at a hotel/riad.
