ITINERARY: 11 days tour from Fes

DAY 1 : FES AIRPORT – TO THE RIAD /HOTEL :

Upon your arrival at Fez airport, our team will be waiting you to welcoming you to Morocco.they will pick you up to your riad/hotel in the middle of the old Medina or new city of Fes. Night in Fes

DAY 2 : FEZ SIGHTSEEING :

After your breakfast at your riad, you meet your local guide and the exploration of Fez beging. You start with the Royal Palace, founded back to the foundation of the new Fez. Then Mellah, the Jewish quarter, where you see a 17th century synagogue.Also the Univesity of Al-Qaraouine, founded as a Mosque, then became one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of historic Musmim world. As well as, Chouara Tannery, the largest and oldest at oldest medina quarter of the city, surrounded by leather shops with terraces from where you look down into the pits. Furthermore, you will take a walk around old souks (markets) of Fez, and wonder between the narrow alleys of the old Medina. Have an amazing lunch in one of the narrow streets in the heart of the old Medina. Afetr that, you drive to the north hghest place in Fez, from where you will have an incredible view of the old Medin, in addition to visting the Moroccan Pottery and Ceramics with real professional local craftsmen. Later on, will pick you up back to your hotel/riad and spen night in Fez.

DAY 3 : FEZ – VOLUBILIS – CHEFCHAOUEN :

After spend 2 nights in this medival city, it is time to leave it behind. Our target toda is to the Blue Pearl, On our road , that takes 4 hour’s drive. We will pay a visit to the Volubilis site, the Roman ruins. Another Unesco World Heritage Site, one of the largest and most important archaeological sites in Morocco, built-in a fertile argicultural area and developed from the 3rd century BC. Then continue our way via Ouazzan town, where a possible lunch is planned, then through the massive and beautiful Rif mountains, we arrive at Chefchaouen, one of the most visited places in all Morocco if not in all over the world.Painted blue, this town is a breathtaking places to visit. We will arrive in your riad, afetr check in, and then start strolling in the beautiful blue alleyways of the city. Also Ras El ma, an old waterig hole, with an entrance to the Medina, is a popular place for both locals and tourists. Furthermore,the Plaza Uta El-hammam, the main square in Chefchaouen, next to it is also the Kasbah ( A walled fortress ).night is Chefchaouen.

DAY 4 : CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGER – RABAT :

We leave the beautiful blue painted town heading to Rabat, the capital. But before that, we will visit Tanger, the Moroccan port on the stait of Gibraltar. Where we visit Cap Spartel, an attractive lighthouse with pale square tower and brown craving at the top, typical of Islamic designs. Located at the point where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, the lighthouse was built in 1864. In addition to the famous Cave of Hercules, an archaeological cave has two openings, the first opening to the sea, known as The Map of Africa, and a second opening to the land. Later, we continue our adventure driving towards Rabat, the capital of the kingdom, the residence of the King, and one of the four former imperial cities. In Rabar, you explore the huge unfinished Hassan tower intended to be the largest one together with its minaret throughout the world. Its construction began in 1195 and was commissoned by Ya’qub al-Mansur.Across from this great historical spot is the mausoleum of King Hassan the fifth, it contains the tombs of the Moroccan King Mohammed V and his two sons, late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. Afterward, you will visit the Udaya Kasbah, a walled neighborhood that dates back to the 12th century by the Almohads dynasty.The Kasbah is still inhabited now, and it is a unique place looking at the Atlantic ocean with fantastic blue and white walls. Later on, we complete our way to the biggest city in the Kingdom and the second largest in Africa. We drive you to the riad where your hotel/riad.

DAY 5 : RABAT – CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH :

After your breakfast will do depart from Rabat to Marrakech via Casablanca, and Its time to explore the largset city in Morocco, The most important landmarks of the city to visit are ; Hasan’s second Mosque, looking out to the Atlantic Ocean, it is the second biggest mosque in all Africa &nd the Fifth-biggest in all over the woeld. The mosque is one few open mosques for non-muslims to visit. Have a walk at the Cournich of Casablanca, from where you can get an interesting view of Hassan II Mosque. Looking at the Atlantic Ocean, in addition to the Rick’s Cafe, known for the American movie named « Casabalnca « After will take highway to the red city Marrakech, the fourth iperial cities in Morocco. DAY 6 : MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING :

In the morning at 09:30am, your local guide will be waiting for you at the reception of your hotel/riad. Your guide willaccompany and show you all the historical sites of the red city Marrakech, including ; Jamaa El-Fna Square, one of the main culture spaces in Marrakech founded in the 11th century and considered one of the busieet square in all the world. And Saadian dynasty ( 1578 – 1603).In addition to Bahia Palace, one of Marrakech’s most

impressive buildings that was built at the end of the 19th century, and intended to be the most eye-catching palace of all times. Morover, the 12th Koutoubia mosque, most important and largest worship place at that time. Later on, you will stroll inside the narrow streets of the old Medina « Old city «, and visit Souk/Markets. After lunch in one of the restaurant in the old medina, you hit the road to the modern area. Majorelle garden and YSL Musume after will pick you up back to your hotel/riad.

DAY 7 : MARRKECH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BEN HADOU KASBAH – OUARZAZATE – SKORA – ROSE VALLEY – DADES VALLEY :

After your breakfast will be waiting you at the lobby of your hotel. They will meet you there and pick you up at 08:00am to show you around some Southeast parts of our beautiful country.Crossing the highest road in Morocco, the Tizi n Tichka pass in the High Atlas mountains. We stop through the way for outstanding pictures of the muddy Berber village, landscapes, nature. In 4 hours drive, we arrive at one of the famous Kasbah, a fortified castle, a UNESCO Wrold Heritage Site, a place where popular movies have been filmed. Such as Gladiator, game of Throne, Lawrence of Arabia,and many more. Make a visit to this extraordinary site, then have lunch either there at the village of Ait Ben Hadou, or at our next stop in Ouarzazate which is half an hour’s drive.In Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of all Africa, You visit and discover the Atlas studio, the world’s largest film studio. Afterward, will drive through the road named the road of thousands of Kasbahs. To the town of roses in Morocco KLAAT M’GOUNA. Here you can see the pinky flowers everywhere alongside the road during springtime,and see how people there make different products from roses. Eventually, we arrive at Boumalne Dades or Ddaes Valley, calm town, with a beautiful green valley. You spend your first night in hotel or riad with dinner included.

DAY 8 : BOUMALNE DADES – TOUDRA GORGE – ERFOUD – SAHARA :

Afetr your breafast at your hotel. Our team pick you up for your second day of the tour. will Leaving the town of Boumalne Dades on the way to Tinghir, the town Toudra Gorge locates. You visit the astonishing Canyons of Toudra Gorge, a place visited all year round by worldwide rock climbers for adventuring. You may be lucky to see them climbing during your visit. A place not far from where nomads still live in caves, they come with their animals « sheep, goats, donkeys » for water,also take water with them for their home use. Next to Erfoud, a town famous for fossils, not to forget fresh dates from the large valley of Ziz crossing the town. After that, in an hour ‘s drive,you get to the beautiful Sahara desert of Merzouga, one of the most visited site in Africa. Your camel man awaits you next to the dunes for lifting you by his camels to the desert camp. The camel ride takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes including an amazing stop for an incredible sunset at the top of a high dunes in the midlle of the desert. Your camel guide will come back to the camp. Dinner in the camp with animation and will Sleep under the beautiful stars of the southern morocco, and in a traditional Berber-style camp. Entertainment in the evening with the opportunity to learn how to play the drums.

DAY 9 : ERG-CHEBBI SAHARA EXPLORATION :

Today you explore the beautiful and amazing Golden Dunes of the Merzouga, and drive to visit the black Desert and its all amazing Fossil. After that, The M’ifis Mines and continue towards the vilage of Khamlia, originally from Mali, Where we discover the Gnawa music and his Band, their culture and their clothing. Lunch in the village. Afternoon, return to the town of Merzouga to rest before our journey in 4×4 wheels begin. By the river Sable, a place where the road continues to the other side of the desert. The Sand Bording and return to the Desert of Merzouga. Back to your hotel.

DAY 10 : MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – IFRANE – FES :

Today we leave the town of Merzouga on the way to Fez city. As we have already arrived at the Ziz Valley, an incredible place for different products such as dates, almonds, and apple. Next to Midelt, a famous area for planting apples, to the clean city of Ifrane, And known as the Switzerland of Africa, because of the architecture of houses in this amazing city. Then arrive in the cedar forest of Azrou and the Monkey of Barbarie in the way to Fez, and we can have a chance to visit it. Continue to Fez city, where we stay for the night.

DAY 11 : DEPARTURE TRANSFER FEZ – SAÏSS AIRPORT :

Our team picks you up from your hotel to the airport, in dependance to the flight time.
